The 99%ers…

Hey guys as you know I have been at the beach for about a week now. That’s why I haven’t been posting as much as I should have. On my little “vacation” I met this guy names Bobby Seay. You can check out his website here —>Seayshades (Keep an eye out on this website for some really awesome products!) anyway we were talking this morning about the younger generation in the world today.

We over here at SparkVillage know the people that come to our site is a younger audience because we cover lots of video games, computers, tech news, etc….  But we also want to inspire the younger folks to get out there and try something new and when I mean younger I’m talking about people from the age of 13-30. Don’t be like the other 99% of the world who never does anything world changing with their lives!

Go try new things, meet new people, invent something to help others! Always think in this mind set,” what can I do to make somebodies life better”.  If more people thought this way the world would be a better place! Just take a moment to think about the times somebody have given something to or done something for you. It usually make an impact on you at some point down the road. I know you cant remember every time you have done something for somebody but you can remember when somebody did something for you! With that said you aren’t entitled to anything in this world. You need to stand up and try to be the 1% of people and make a name for yourself. You can start by making a blog or a website like we did (If you need a place to start check this link. Try to make new friends everywhere you go, you are bound to meet somebody that will take you far in life. Bobby Seay said ” If you treat people right your bound to do alright down the road.” Take this advice and use it to do something great!

Well it looks like Elite simply isn’t going to happen on the PC this time around, but at least you can get the DLC.

The new DLC pack available on Steam cost $15 and includes 4 new maps for multiplayer/survival mode plus 2 special ops missions.

“I’m willing to put our differences behind us.  For science.  You monster.”

Valve today announced that Portal 2 owners will be treated to a free DLC toolkit that will allow levels to be created by everyone.  The download, called “The Perpetual Testing Initiative” will be available on both PC and Mac, but there’s no word on whether the toolkit will be extended to Xbox 360 or PS3 owners (most likely not).  The puzzle maker will allow Portal 2 owners both to create new levels, and to share those levels with other players.  The Steam Workshop will play host to the user created levels, and players will be able to search for new challenges there and post reviews of levels that they play.

Oh, and Portal 2 is on sale for $6.79 till the 10th.

I’ve provided a link below to my workshop files so if you own Portal 2 you can download any test chambers I make.
