He Is Who He says He Is

He Is Who He says He Is

Description

One day Jesus got into a boat with his disciples...and as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water and were in danger. And He awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and they ceased and there was a calm...and they marveled, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him?"

Behind the scenes: God reminded me of the many times that I am "in a storm" and the first thing I do is panic. I usually then start asking God of He sees what is happening. It is then, that He assures me to have faith because He knew about the storm long before it was even on the horizon.

Later in the chapter, Jesus heals a man, Then, He tells him, "Return to Your home and declare how much God has done for you." And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city, how much Jesus had done for him.

That is what I am trying to do through sharing these illustrations.

How about you? Are you trying to find ways to tell others all the storms and trials the God had brought you through?
